Job Description

Wise has always grown through product-led, self-serve channels. Now we’re building something new: a dedicated sales function within Wise Business to help larger businesses understand and adopt Wise for their global banking needs.

As an Account Executive, you’ll work inbound leads from multiple sources — inbound sales forms, activation campaigns, events, and partnerships — qualifying prospects, running discovery calls, and guiding businesses through sign-up, KYC, and their first transactions on Wise.

This is a velocity sales role. You’re not chasing enterprise contracts over 12 months. You’re moving quickly, helping businesses that already have local and international banking pain to see the value of Wise and get started.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and manage inbound leads from multiple channels using the APTIM framework (Authority, Product Fit, Timeline, Impact/Pain, Metrics)

  • Run discovery and qualification calls with business owners, finance leads, and operations teams

  • Build and present savings analyses that clearly demonstrate Wise’s value vs. banks and competitors

  • Manage your pipeline in Salesforce — keeping stages, activities, and next steps accurate and up to date

  • Guide prospects through sign-up, KYC submission, and first transaction activation

  • Monitor customer activation using internal tools and follow up to ensure businesses ramp onto the platform

  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets across revenue and activation metrics

  • Contribute to playbooks, share learnings, and help shape best practices as part of a team being built from the ground up

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally in a sales, business development, or commercial role.

  • Strong communication skills — you can hold a conversation, ask the right questions, and build rapport quickly

  • Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus, but not essential)

  • A structured, organized approach to managing your day and your pipeline

  • Curiosity about how businesses move money internationally and a genuine interest in fintech

Nice to have:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, payments, fintech, or financial services

  • Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage, or scale-up environment

  • Additional languages (relevant to your market)

Additional Information

Where You'll Be: We're looking for someone to join our team in Austin, USA! It's a hybrid role, so you'll get to spend time with the team in the office. This isn't a fully remote position, and we don't have a relocation package for it.

Work Eligibility: This role is for candidates who are already authorized to work in the US. Unfortunately, we can't sponsor visas for this opportunity.

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders  — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
