The Account Executive will generate leads and new business opportunities primarily in the SMB segment, closing sales deals and collaborating with Sales Directors for targeted growth strategies.

The Account Executive, Growth is responsible for generating high-quality leads and new business opportunities that lead to acquiring new clients. They mainly focus on the SMB segment, where they need to find and close deals with self-serve clients and then hand over the clients to our CSM team for ongoing support. In addition, you will collaborate closely with Sales Directors in your territory to develop plans tailored to the specific market. You will also have the chance to create and assess new business opportunities, which will then be closed by our Mid-Market sales team. The aim is to ensure a coordinated strategy that maximizes growth opportunities across different segments.
StackAdapt is a remote first company. We will be prioritizing candidates located in the US Central or West Regions
What You'll Be Doing:
- Utilizing various sales tools to maintain a robust pipeline and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Developing and executing strategies to meet or exceed a $1M USD annual target through programmatic advertising closes within the SMB segment.
- Conducting in-depth research on potential SMB clients and identifying opportunities for StackAdapt to win within your territory.
- Identify, pitch, and successfully close new platform sales deals with local agencies or brands, tailoring proposals to address specific needs.
- Managing a high volume of prospecting activities, including cold email outreach and top-of-funnel programmatic sales, to identify and engage potential clients.
- Collaborating with Mid Market Account Executives to align strategies and support cross-segment growth opportunities, ensuring a unified approach to regional market penetration.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Proven experience in a relevant sales role with both prospecting and closing experience.
- Experience in media, marketing and advertising industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Growth mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
- The ability to problem-solve and be adaptable.
