Position Summary

The Account Executive, Strategic Partnerships, is a senior-level sales professional responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the national footprint of National University Harmony Academy within complex K–12 education systems and youth development markets. The incumbent leverages their skill set and proven track record of closing large-scale deals, navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes, and cultivating high-value partnerships with district executives, nonprofit leaders, and other key influencers.

Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Strategic Partnerships, the Account Executive activates new growth markets, manages strategic accounts, and aligns sales efforts with policy and funding opportunities. With a sharp focus on execution and impact, this role brings partnership strategies to life—translating organizational goals into actionable sales initiatives that drive adoption, scale programs, and contribute directly to Harmony’s fiscal sustainability and mission expansion.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive Complex Sales Cycles: Lead end-to-end sales efforts across large, multi-stakeholder K–12 districts and youth-serving organizations, managing long sales cycles and consistently advancing high-value opportunities through pipeline stages.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans: Build and execute account plans aligned with organizational revenue goals, targeting district leaders and influential stakeholders to expand market penetration and partner engagement.
  • Cultivate Revenue-Generating Partnerships: Establish and grow scalable partnerships that align with Harmony Academy’s fiscal sustainability goals, including securing MOUs, managing onboarding, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
  • Execute Market Expansion Strategies: Collaborate with internal and external teams to launch into new regions, build brand visibility, and activate priority markets through strategic outreach and relationship development.
  • Engage with National and Regional Associations: Represent Harmony Academy at key conferences and networking events, generating qualified leads and enhancing brand recognition in alignment with national growth strategies.
  • Deliver High-Impact Presentations: Facilitate webinars, district briefings, and conference sessions to promote Harmony Academy solutions and build credibility with superintendents, cabinet-level officials, and other executive leaders.
  • Implement Scalable Partner Playbooks: Apply proven sales frameworks to structure onboarding, training, and implementation plans that ensure successful deployment and measurable impact across partner sites.
  • Provide Market Intelligence: Serve as the eyes and ears in the field, delivering real-time insights on customer pain points, policy shifts, and funding opportunities to shape sales strategy and product positioning.
  • Maintain CRM Excellence: Accurately document all sales activity, forecasts, and communications in CRM to ensure data integrity and support agile decision-making across the sales organization.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with marketing, implementation, product, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution, consistent messaging, and unified partner support.
  • Exceed Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team revenue goals, contributing to Harmony Academy’s broader impact, scale, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Advance Thought Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to partners by bringing innovative solutions, aligning offerings to evolving district needs, and fostering deep, lasting relationships with education leaders.
  • Coachability and Growth Mindset: Engage in regular 1:1 coaching, sales training, and field reviews to refine techniques, stay sharp, and continuously grow in performance and impact.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or relevant field, required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of edtech sales, business development experience, K-12 Education, youth development organizations sales experience, proven track record, sales performance history required.
  • Experience managing large territories with a high number of complex accounts required. 
  • Extensive experience working with large high-profile districts with enterprise sales potential preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing relationships with education leaders from Pre-K-12 and higher education preferred.
  • All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.

  • Requires the ability to work with broad parameters and with little supervision; demonstrated ability to initiate, conceptualize and complete projects with little oversight.
  • Must be skilled at engaging with new partners in unfamiliar settings and quickly building rapport.
  • Ability to coordinate large teams, large accounts, and the resources needed to support and sustain long term implementations.
  • Ability to politically navigate through an organization to interact with key decision makers and other executives.
  • Strong professional presence and demonstrated ability to present to C-level decision makers.
  • Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a mission-driven organization.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, persuasively, and confidently over phone, e-mail and in face-to-face appointments.
  • Strong commitment to building a strong multi-state region with an extensive Harmony Academy user base.
  • Strong commitment to building a regional and national culture for Harmony Academy that is centered on collaboration across the regions, management team, and very open and consistent communication with the Director.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce CRM to maintain pipeline hygiene, track daily KPIs, ensure timely follow-up, and drive deals forward through structured execution and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications including Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint and contact management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments, functions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Handle public relations and client relationships.

Location: Remote, USA

Travel: Frequent Travel Required; up to 40% travel required.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.  Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
