Our Mission:

We believe all students deserve high-quality tutoring support. We partner with school districts of all sizes to build innovative, custom-fit tutoring solutions that seamlessly integrate with their existing technology, instructional programs and goals, ensuring every student has access to flexible and targeted support. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Build and maintain a healthy Lumen and TMS (tutoring management system) pipeline focused on state depts, non-profits, tutoring service providers, and other larger scale opportunities to meet established individual quota.
  • Achieve and maintain a deep level of the product knowledge, and the range of use-cases the products are designed to support.
  • Conduct virtual presentations to potential prospective customers and current clients. Occasional in-person meetings and presentations may be required periodically.
  • Attend periodic high-value territory-based or national events, individually, or in conjunction with one of Littera’s partners.
  • Attend post-sale customer meetings, such as kick-offs and check-ins, to build valuable relationships and ensure renewals and expansions.
  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of Littera’s program offerings and update skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis.
  • Confidently articulate and present Littera’s value proposition to Lumen and TMS prospects.
  • Use CRM and internal tools to log and manage sales activity and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information.
 

What you need:

  • 5+ years of outbound-focused sales or client-facing positional experience in Ed Tech/SaaS
    • Experience working in educational services (tutoring, professional development, etc) is a plus.
  • Experience working with key decision makers including State-level education leaders, legislators, non-profit and for-profit C-suite directors, district Superintendents/CAO/C&I, and other business officials.
  • Organized working style with strong time management skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of cold outreach (calls, emails, networking) and working with current pipeline
  • Experience effectively collaborating with other team members and departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills
  • Experience managing high-touch customer relationships
  • Strong presentation skills with high comfort level organizing and managing important meetings
  • Systems-oriented with experience utilizing a CRM and outbound tools
  • Resourceful self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and ownership in team culture and results
  • History of success building and executing strategic plans to pursue larger scale opportunities

  • Competitive Compensation: A base salary of $80,000-90,000 with a clear commission structure, along with equity in the company.
    • Commission would be in the range of $75,000-$90,000 annually but has no cap.
