NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Account Executive, Performance Marketing based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

The Account Executive, Performance Marketing executes marketing campaigns across email, SMS, app/push notifications, direct mail, and other relevant channels. The Account Executive, as part of the Performance Marketing team, creates and executes campaign creative and messaging, and manages the recapping and continual optimization of journey efforts. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Set and manage project timelines, in partnership with Marketing leadership. 
  • Ideate, create, and manage submission of creative briefs for fan communication needs, inclusive of email, Adobe Target, and direct mail.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent messaging across campaign assets. 
  • Evaluate requested edits from other departments and assist with input and management within open Workfront jobs.
  • Manage and communicate best-practice processes with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage incoming direct mail campaign requests, as well as those initiated by the Performance Marketing team, to design, send and analyze campaigns.
  • Use subject matter expertise, creativity, and knowledge of best practices to build emails with the Adobe platform. 
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere, to perform light graphic/ motion graphics editing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on campaign recaps with a focus on finding and optimizing efficiencies. 
  • Where needed, submit requests to web team for landing page updates; consult on best links to utilize for a given campaign.
  • Attend and track notes from regular meetings with internal teams, as well as cross-departmental touchpoints with data strategy, admissions, and other key stakeholders
  • Travel: 10-15% including weekends 

Required skills / experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four (4) year college or university and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, public relations, sports management, and/or other related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient on company provided hardware and software. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud inclusive of Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Adobe Analytics or equivalent analytics tool, Adobe Journey Optimizer (or similar email service provider such as MailChimp, Sailthru, etc.)
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to self-direct and carry out projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
