StackAdapt is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our Mobile App team. Reporting to the Sales Director, Mobile App, you will be responsible for driving new business and growing existing relationships with app developers, agencies, and brands within the programmatic mobile app advertising space. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about mobile advertising and looking to help shape StackAdapt's rapidly expanding presence in this vertical.


As an Account Executive, Mobile App, you will manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—while working closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales (Core, Enterprise, and Growth teams), Client Services, Product, and Advertising Technologies to ensure the mobile app solutions we provide align with market expectations. You’ll also collaborate with the Client Services and Performance Specialist teams to drive campaign success and long-term client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to join StackAdapt to spearhead the go to market efforts for our newest channel offering. 


StackAdapt is a Remote First company, and we are open to candidates located anywhere in the US for this position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Sales Execution & Growth: Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with app developers, global agencies, and brands for programmatic mobile app advertising. Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, and ensure successful campaign launches. Partner with Account Managers and Performance Specialists to present new campaign strategies and solutions, ensuring strong client relationships and account growth. Regularly meet with clients and prospects to understand their mobile app advertising needs, focusing on both user acquisition and in-app conversions (e.g., installs, subscriptions, purchases).
  • Collaboration & Market Insight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to ensure that mobile app solutions align with market trends and client needs. Work cross-functionally with Core, Enterprise, and Growth sales teams on strategies to upsell mobile app campaigns for existing customers who have historically only executed programmatic native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home campaigns. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Work closely with management to deliver on sales targets and reporting requirements.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in digital advertising, preferably with a focus on mobile advertising and programmatic. 
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses an extensive network of User Acquisition Managers, App Developers, Agencies, and Brands. 
  • Solid knowledge of mobile marketing techniques and technologies (DSPs, ad networks, exchanges, DMPs, SSPs, ATT, SKAd, audience targeting, etc.)
  • Familiarity with mobile app marketing strategies, including user acquisition, in-app conversion, and ROAS campaigns.
  • Proven track record in a quota-carrying sales role, closing new business, and managing client relationships.
  • Experience in building pitch decks and conducting research to create data-driven sales presentations.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and mobile app solutions to a diverse audience, including executive-level clients.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools for building and maintaining a robust pipeline.
  • Ability to Collaborate with multiple internal support teams for smooth campaign execution.
