Position Summary

The Account Executive – MI Clarity is responsible for driving awareness, adoption, and utilization of MI Clarity, an AI-powered prognostic assay designed to assess both early and late distant recurrence risk in postmenopausal patients with HR-positive/HER2-negative, node-negative early-stage breast cancer.

The Account Executive will partner with oncologists, breast surgeons, pathologists, nurse navigators, and healthcare systems to educate stakeholders on the clinical value of the test, integrate the assay into clinical workflows, and increase appropriate utilization.

This role requires a strong understanding of oncology, breast cancer treatment pathways, molecular diagnostics, and value-based clinical conversations. Success is measured through account engagement, clinician adoption, testing utilization, and long-term strategic growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Educate healthcare providers and care teams on the clinical utility, prognostic value, and evidence supporting MI Clarity, including its ability to identify both early and late distant recurrence risk in eligible breast cancer patients.

  • Present clinical data, validation studies, and evidence-based insights, while explaining the differentiation of AI-driven pathology analysis from traditional genomic and molecular assays.

  • Conduct in-person and virtual educational programs and lead consultative, evidence-based discussions on risk stratification, treatment planning, extended endocrine therapy considerations, and opportunities to reduce overtreatment and undertreatment.

  • Position MI Clarity as a clinical decision-support tool that optimizes patient care, addressing questions related to assay performance, patient selection, workflow integration, turnaround time, and clinical interpretation.

  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to drive awareness, adoption, and utilization of MI Clarity.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical oncologists, breast surgeons, pathologists, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, health system administrators, and other clinical decision-makers.

  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders, decision-makers, and clinical champions within target accounts to support adoption and long-term utilization.

  • Support implementation of testing workflows and operational integration within healthcare systems and clinical practices.

  • Analyze territory and account performance data to identify growth opportunities, monitor utilization and adoption trends, and develop targeted engagement strategies.

  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation, forecasting, and account activity records.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, and other internal teams to support customer success and business objectives.

  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards, maintaining accurate, balanced, and approved clinical and promotional communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or healthcare-related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in one or more of the following: Oncology, Diagnostics, Molecular Testing, Pathology, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical sales

  • Strong understanding of breast cancer treatment pathways and oncology terminology.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with healthcare providers and health systems.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate clinical data.

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling oncology diagnostics or precision medicine solutions.

  • Existing relationships within oncology or breast centers.

  • Experience launching new products or assays.

  • Familiarity with pathology workflows and digital pathology.

  • Knowledge of prognostic and predictive breast cancer assays.

  • Provider engagement and educational activity

  • Successful workflow implementation within target accounts

  • Territory growth and market penetration

  • CRM accuracy and activity execution

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift routine office materials.

Additional Information

  • Travel required, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays.
