SUMMARY

The Enterprise Account Executive I will play a key role in expanding Avetta's footprint by driving new business with enterprise clients. This role requires a consultative sales approach - listening, uncovering challenges, and crafting solutions that deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate has a track record of closing high-value SaaS deals, managing complex sales cycles, and meeting revenue targets. This includes experience working with large multinational companies, engaging complex buying committees and buyer journeys, and applying proven methodologies such as MEDDPICC -  with exposure to Challenger selling principles - to drive success. At Level I, the Account Executive operates with active guidance from sales leadership, building proficiency in Avetta's sales motion, methodology, and enterprise buyer dynamics. The Enterprise Account Executive owns the primary relationship with prospective Avetta clients before and during their buyer journey. Once a prospect becomes a client, the Account Executive continues to manage and service the relationship until the account is fully established, at which point it transitions to the Account Management Team for ongoing support and expansion. If residing within commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be required (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).  Candidates within commutable distance are preferred, but those outside of an office area may be considered on a remote basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive new client acquisition by identifying and engaging enterprise prospects, building relationships with key decision-makers, and developing strategies to generate business opportunities and grow Avetta's sales pipeline.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle - from prospecting and qualification through presentations, negotiations, and signed agreements - while partnering with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Apply MEDDPICC to qualify and progress opportunities, developing proficiency in the methodology with coaching from leadership.
  • Maintain a weekly emphasis on business development initiatives to ensure consistent progress.
  • Consistently work toward revenue goals while keeping a well-managed pipeline in Salesforce, and provide clear, timely forecasts and insights to leadership.
  • Partner with an assigned Sales Development Representative to execute targeted prospecting strategies.
  • Represent Avetta at industry trade shows and engage in networking activities to build relationships and promote Avetta's solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive Avetta Overview Presentations and Product Demonstrations online.
  • Travel regularly to client sites and key accounts to facilitate in-person meetings, plus sales events, conferences, and other client-facing engagements.
  • Provide essential support to new clients during the initial launch phase and throughout the first ninety days, with a focus on maximizing revenue and ensuring client success.
  • Actively participate in weekly 1-on-1 meetings and team calls to stay aligned with Avetta's goals and strategies.
  • Attend additional trainings, meetings, and seminars as required, and adhere to other duties assigned to contribute to Avetta's success.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • 5-8 years of SaaS sales experience, including solid enterprise-level SaaS sales experience.
  • Familiarity with a structured sales methodology such as MEDDPICC; exposure to Challenger selling a plus.
  • Experience selling safety-related products or services, working with contractors, working in procurement, or working in an industry that Avetta has current customers is considered a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills - this role requires significant travel, meeting coordination, and RFP/RFI/RFQ response management.
  • Superior communication - exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong public speaking - ability to confidently present to groups, maintain engagement, and communicate complex topics with clarity.
  • Self-motivated - able to set and pursue goals with guidance and support from sales leadership.
  • Technical understanding - able to grasp and communicate SaaS software functionality and demonstrate product capabilities to clients.
  • Ethical - embodies Avetta's core values of honesty and integrity.

OTHER DESIRED TRAITS:

  • Excellent time management, technical proficiency (CRM/Salesforce), problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability.

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
