About The Role

As part of Aptos’ ‘10x Ecosystem’ vision for 2025, the Aptos Foundation is launching a hands-on accelerator designed to propel high-potential projects from ‘1 to 10.’ This program will support some of the most influential projects in our ecosystem, helping them launch successfully and scale efficiently.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will drive the end-to-end technical execution for accelerator projects. You will work closely with engineering teams, accelerator founders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are built on a strong technical foundation and ready for launch on time and within scope. This role is instrumental in de-risking technical challenges, optimizing technical roadmaps, and aligning projects with Aptos’ high-performance infrastructure.

This role reports to the Aptos Foundation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects for accelerator teams, ensuring they meet technical and business objectives.

  • Work closely with project teams to address technical challenges, leveraging Aptos' engineering resources for rapid issue resolution.

  • Identify potential technical risks early and implement strategies to mitigate them before launch.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Guide teams in architectural decisions, scalability, security best practices, and infrastructure optimization.

  • Define and monitor key milestones, track project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

  • Build strong relationships and support portfolio companies in their technical decision-making processes, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.

  • Develop clear frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for accelerator projects to follow.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in technical program or project management in Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or early-stage technology startups, ideally experienced with Move language

  • Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and L1 infrastructure. (Hands-on coding experience is a plus but not required.)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive execution in fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to anticipate and address technical challenges that could impact project success.

  • Strong ability to translate technical complexities for both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Understanding of early-stage project dynamics and developer ecosystems.

Bonus:

  • Experience in a crypto accelerator, startup, or venture capital environment.

  • Previous experience in mentoring or supporting early-stage founders and development teams.
