About the Role

Innovaccer is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test - II to join our quality engineering team. In this role, you'll build automated test frameworks, validate data pipelines, and ensure data accuracy and performance across our analytics platforms. You'll work closely with data and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for our healthcare products.

A Day in the Life

  • Design and implement automated test suites for validating ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and integrity checks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business logic into test cases.
  • Build test frameworks for regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Ensure data quality and reliability through CI/CD-integrated validation pipelines.
  • Investigate and resolve data issues across systems.
  • Promote testing best practices and mentor junior QA team members.

 What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation, data engineering, or backend QA.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data validation.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT testing and data platforms like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Pytest, Behave) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Understanding of data modeling, orchestration (Airflow, dbt), and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
