Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze production release requirements compared to inventory levels and issue releases to bill of material suppliers for just in time deliveries.
  • Complete physical inventories of silos, resin, molded parts, and work in process as required. Reconcile variances and assist in the corrective actions to resolve future discrepancies.
  • Establish work in process inventory requirements by part number and manage scheduling of work in process to support assembly and paint.
  • Analyze internal customer release requirements to determine mold production shift requirements to maintain min/max work in process inventories.
  • Participate as required as a cross-functional member of continuous improvement teams focusing on improving performance objectives.
  • Oversee resin ordering and forecasting
  • Communicate deviations, Tool PM's, press downtime, programming of tools and trials.

  • Ensure product demands are met and process standards are achieved
  • Work with APQP to schedule trials and pre-production
  • Proactively identify potential business issues and/or supply constraints, develop risk mitigation plans and escalate, as appropriate
  • Develop, measure and track internal departments requirements
  • Develop and implement an inventory record accuracy program to achieve internal goals
  • Develop Mold schedules to maximize process efficiency
  • Performs other duties as directed.
