Make your mark in Technology 

At AIG, technology plays a critical role in how we manage risk, serve our clients, and enable our businesses around the world. Our Technology teams design, build, secure, and support the systems and data solutions that help AIG operate effectively, make informed decisions, and continue to innovate. 
 
As a Technology Analyst, you will join AIG’s Technology Analyst Program (TAP), a 24-month rotational program designed to build a breadth and depth of technology skills and capabilities through three 8-month rotations. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside technology professionals on meaningful projects that support AIG’s business and technology priorities. 
 
This experience will provide opportunities to broaden your exposure across Technology, develop your technical, business, and professional skills, and build connections across the organization. Opportunities may span Business Technology, Corporate Technology, and IT Business Management, providing insight into how technology solutions, strategy, and operations support a global insurance organization.

Responsibilities  

Depending on your placement, you may gain experience in one or more of the following Technology areas: 

 
Architecture: Support the development of enterprise and domain architecture roadmaps and requirements aligned with technology strategy and standards. 

 
Business Partnership: Collaborate across business and Technology teams to gather requirements and support solutions aligned with business priorities. 

 
Data: Gather, analyze, and model data to generate insights and support informed business decisions. 

 
Cybersecurity: Help develop and support solutions that protect AIG’s systems, applications, data, and stakeholders from cybersecurity threats. 

 
Engineering: Contribute to software or systems engineering initiatives, including application development, automation, cloud, network, and infrastructure solutions. 

 
Technology Business & Project Management: Support project and program execution, strategic operations, and business management initiatives across Technology. 

 
Technology Risk & Controls: Assist with identifying, assessing, and managing technology risks and controls in alignment with regulatory and business requirements. 

 

Minimum Qualifications  

Our Early Careers programs are designed for students and recent graduates who are beginning their professional careers, generally within one year of completing their degree.

Education Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2027 (unofficial transcript required upon application). 

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher. 

Program Requirements 

  • Available to start the Program on July 26, 2027. 

  • Analyst positions are in-person opportunities, requiring employees to work in the office at least four days per week. 

  • Previous internship experience is required. 

Core Qualifications 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. 

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. 

  • Experience with or exposure to programming, scripting, data analysis, databases, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or other relevant technology tools and platforms.  

  • Familiarity with programming or query languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technologies.  

  • Demonstrated interest in technology, innovation, and applying technical solutions to business challenges.  

  • Interest in one or more areas such as software or systems engineering, data, cybersecurity, architecture, technology project management, or technology risk and controls.

For applicants in Colorado, Jersey City, and New York City the base salary range for this position is $86,200 to $99,100.
