LPL’s Strategy & Growth Intern Program offers a 10-week paid summer experience designed to accelerate your development and provide exposure to real-world strategy work. Throughout the program, you’ll collaborate with senior leaders, contribute to high-impact projects, and gain firsthand insight into how data, strategy, and execution come together to drive business success.
You’ll engage in enterprise strategy, business operations, and executive-level decision-making, while developing hands-on experience in data analysis, strategic storytelling, and stakeholder engagement. The program fosters a collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions are valued, and you’ll have opportunities to network with professionals across the organization and build meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities:
Support strategic initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and surfacing insights
Track key metrics and business performance indicators to inform decision-making
Build executive-level presentations that translate complex data into clear, compelling stories
Assist with business management tasks including meeting prep, project tracking, and reporting
Collaborate across teams to support communications, process improvements, and operational planning

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field
Minimum 3.3 GPA
Strong interest in the financial services industry
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
The ideal candidate should be local to the San Diego or Fort Mill office during the time of the internship and will work on a hybrid schedule. (3 days in the office)
Offer contingent on successful background screening
Core Competencies:
Ability to analyze and organize data to uncover insights and trends
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear and confident written and verbal communication
Skilled in building presentation materials that tell a compelling story
Summer Internship Schedule:
Full-time position for 10 weeks in the summer of 2026; Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours
Dependent on team needs, work locations could be remote, hybrid or in office (San Diego, CA and Fort Mill, SC office)
Interns should plan to participate for the entire program. Program dates: June 1, 2026-August 7, 2026
Hourly Rate:
$22-$25 per hourThe hourly amount is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
