As an Intern - Territory Development, you will focus on researching accounts to help identify new business opportunities, using your analytical skills to gather valuable insights and create a strong foundation for Workiva to engage with prospects. You’ll support pipeline growth by collecting and organizing account information for current and potential clients. In our fast-faced, collaborative environment, your ideas are valued, providing a unique opportunity to develop skills in business research and client development.
Responsibilities
Collaborate to build engagement strategies for potential customer and prospect accounts
Conduct baseline research to identify key contacts, account information, and potential needs of target clients
Support outreach efforts with accurate data and insights, contributing to campaign and engagement strategy
Build knowledge of Workiva’s product offerings and understand market dynamics to enhance research quality
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to lead generation or sales development activities
Exposure to sales methodologies
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
Strong ability to analyze and organize data, with attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements
Sponsorship Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
