The Spectrum Internship Experience
You'll join one of our departments for the summer, where you'll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it's like to work at a leading connectivity company. You'll have access to:

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams - your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
  • Supporting day-to-day management of a portfolio of projects
  • Monitoring timelines and key performance indicators across assigned projects
  • Preparing regular updates, dashboards, and summaries for senior managers, highlighting progress, risk, and opportunities
  • Assisting in scheduling meetings, capturing action items, and following up with cross-functional teams
  • Helping gather and organizing data for forecasting, performance reviews, and decision-making
  • Identifying inefficiencies and suggesting ways to streamline workflows or enhance visibility
  • Administering workflow tools like Jira, SharePoint, and Asana, including setting up new pages and keeping content current

Required qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Must have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments
  • Effective at measuring results using data driven tools
  • Ability to use presentation skills to effectively convey project success
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication Skills - Verbal and Written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
