Rotational Program - Marketing and Communications
The Rotational Program - Marketing and Communications enables you to gain exposure to multiple teams within Marketing & Communications (M&C) through a comprehensive rotational program that combines senior leadership interaction and cross-business experience with real life situations and projects. M&C helps accelerate our business growth across TIAA and Nuveen's expanding portfolio of products and services through a variety of audience-aligned campaigns and programs. Each rotation is designed to give you deep exposure to multiple disciplines within M&C while improving business knowledge and building an overall understanding of the company. This job is assigned a mentor who provides ongoing coaching and feedback.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Gains knowledge across various M&C functions (Client Marketing, Performance Marketing, Brand, Communications, etc.) to help discover which team fits best.
  • Develops skills and gains experience to ensure a successful career at TIAA.
  • Executes project activities by understanding objectives, meeting timelines and communicating results.
  • Assists in preparing information and research materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
  • Attends required trainings.
  • Shadows multiple office jobs and trains in a variety of function-related tasks.
  • Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members
  • Utilizes academic knowledge, skills and experience to apply tactics and strategies to solve real business challenges.

Base Pay Range: $30.00/hr - $31.25/hr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
