    o
    Year-over-year and period-over-period comparisons
    o
Complex filter and row context scenarios
  • Design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on performance, usability, and visual consistency
  • Collaborate with data engineers and ETL developers to ensure clean, performant data pipelines supporting migrated reports
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training for business users transitioning from Tableau to Power BI
  • Document migration decisions, DAX logic, and model design to support maintainability and future development
  • Advise clients on Power BI governance, workspace organization, and best practices post-migration
  • Support ongoing Power BI development and enhancements beyond the initial migration scope as needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience, including report design and semantic modeling
  • Proficiency in DAX, with demonstrated ability to replicate complex Tableau calculations
    including:

    o
    Time intelligence and date filtering
    o
    Rolling metrics and cumulative totals
    o
    Context transitions and dynamic filtering
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts including facts, dimensions, grain, and relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions to non- technical stakeholders

It's a Plus:

  • 2+ years of Tableau development experience, with the ability to read, interpret, and deconstruct existing Tableau workbooks
  • Experience executing Tableau-to-Power BI migrations or cross-platform BI transitions
  • Familiarity with Tableau features such as sets, parameters, LOD expressions, and table calculations
  • Consulting or professional services experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including licensing models, capacities, and workspace strategies
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, SQL-based pipelines, ADF, or Databricks
  • SQL proficiency across platforms such as SQL Server, Snowflake, or Synapse
  • Experience supporting phased migration projects with parallel Tableau and Power BI environments
  • Exposure to BI governance frameworks, Centers of Excellence, or analytics operating models
  • Experience supporting executive or C-suite reporting needs

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,000 - $5,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
