The Business Development Associate will play a pivotal role in expanding Barcel USA’s presence in key markets by identifying growth opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales initiatives. This individual will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute strategic plans that align with the company’s goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Market Research & Analysis: 
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. 
  • Analyze sales data and market performance to recommend actionable strategies. 
  •  Account Management: 
  • Support the Business Development Manager in managing relationships with key accounts. 
  • Collaborate with distributors, retailers, and partners to ensure alignment with sales objectives. 
  •  Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and distribution. 
  • Sales Support: 
  •  Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and promotional materials for customer meetings. 
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and new product launches. 
  •  Strategic Planning: 
  •  Contribute to the development of long-term growth strategies for target markets. 
  •  Identify and pursue partnerships to expand Barcel USA’s product reach. 
  •  Cross-functional Collaboration: 
  •  Partner with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives. 
  •  Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights and customer needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 
• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the CPG industry. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
• Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools. 
• Familiarity with the Hispanic and multicultural markets is a plus.
