As an HR and Payroll Specialist, you will manage payroll and HR operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency across multiple countries, primarily the US and Canada. Responsibilities include processing payroll, overseeing HR administrative tasks, and managing benefits administration while maintaining legal compliance.

Lead and grow the Database Reliability team to ensure highly available, scalable databases. Mentor engineers, shape incident response and capacity planning, collaborate with infrastructure/product/security, drive best practices for Postgres and CockroachDB, hire and scale the team, and own monitoring, cost optimisation, and performance tuning across environments.
