Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Benefits Overview

Owns strategic cybersecurity sales for electric utility customers, serving as an OT security advisor and trusted partner. Responsibilities include discovering customer challenges, demonstrating solutions, developing territories and accounts, prospecting, leading pricing and commercial discussions, reporting market trends, and supporting sales planning. The role requires deep technical-to-executive communication, strong knowledge of cybersecurity products, collaboration across teams, and approximately 50% travel.

Provides engineering services for power system automation and critical electrical infrastructure. Designs, configures, validates, installs, commissions, and supports automation and protection systems; trains customers; prepares functional design specifications and technical documentation; and delivers projects within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements. The role focuses on industrial controls, PLCs, communications protocols, Ethernet systems, and SEL products, with at least 25% domestic and international travel.

Lead the design and verification of IEC 61850 communication and automation capabilities in SEL products, mentoring cross-functional teams and providing system-level support.
