Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Benefits Overview

Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using .NET, C#, React, and TypeScript. Develop microservices, REST APIs, real-time features, database schemas, and frontend integrations. Provides engineering services for power system automation and critical electrical infrastructure. Designs, configures, validates, installs, commissions, and supports automation and protection systems; trains customers; prepares functional design specifications and technical documentation; and delivers projects within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements. The role focuses on industrial controls, PLCs, communications protocols, Ethernet systems, and SEL products, with at least 25% domestic and international travel.

Design, implement, test, and document embedded firmware and software systems. Collaborate with hardware engineers to address hardware-software interactions, develop test applications, and maintain technical documentation. The engineer will also mentor associate engineers and technicians while applying company operating and manufacturing principles. Required experience includes embedded firmware, real-time systems, C, assembly, C++, Windows GUI development, and scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
