Senior Legal Counsel will advise on healthcare regulatory, corporate, commercial, privacy, employment, litigation, product, and AI-related matters. The role will negotiate contracts, develop legal templates and processes, guide Medicaid and Medicare compliance, support care delivery and workforce policies, manage outside counsel, and partner with clinical, operational, product, and business teams to identify risks and enable responsible growth.

Own and build the end-to-end revenue cycle function across Medicaid and Medicare, including eligibility, authorizations, claims, denials, appeals, billing, collections, and payer reporting. Lead RCM strategy, hire and manage staff, analyze claims data, improve collection rates and DSO, ensure billing compliance, implement RCM systems, and develop scalable automated processes. Collaborate with finance, operations, product, engineering, payers, and provider groups in a fully remote startup environment.

Lead patient-focused product marketing: own patient research and segmentation, positioning and messaging, lifecycle and onboarding experiences, go-to-market for product and service launches, and measurement (A/B tests, funnel metrics). Bridge product and patient insight to inform roadmap, partner with growth, brand, clinical and operations, and ensure compliant, trust-preserving patient communications that improve activation, retention, and conversion.

Build and run the compliance function for a fast-growing Medicaid/Medicare-focused digital health provider. Manage regulatory and program compliance (CMS, state Medicaid, value-based contracts), lead HIPAA privacy and security efforts (BAA management, workforce training), respond to audits and regulator requests, partner with product, engineering, clinical, and operations to assess risk, and create scalable compliance processes, policies, training, and risk registers to enable compliant growth.
