Leads NCDOT traffic safety projects, including crash analyses, investigations, safety evaluations, corridor studies, and predictive analyses. Manages project scope, budgets, schedules, contracts, client relationships, proposals, and technical delivery. Supervises, mentors, and develops staff while supporting business development, recruiting, quality assurance, risk management, and client satisfaction.

Supports project controls and engineering teams with project reports, plans, calculations, quantity and cost estimates, design file organization, research, data collection, field investigations, and project development tasks. The role is based in HNTB’s Charlotte office and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, or AutoCAD knowledge preferred.

Leads design-build transit projects and pursuits, managing client relationships, project budgets, schedules, scope, staffing, quality, and financial performance. Supervises and mentors project teams, coordinates organizational resources, oversees project managers, develops business opportunities, and leads proposal and client presentations for major infrastructure projects.

Supports PMIS and BI implementations for infrastructure and capital programs. Gathers requirements, configures project controls workflows, develops dashboards and reports, manages data integrations and governance, documents procedures, trains users, and provides system support. The role translates business and project requirements into scalable technology and analytics solutions using PMIS platforms, SQL, ETL, data warehouses, Power BI, Tableau, and related tools.

Supports project controls and assigned departments under close supervision by preparing reports, tracking results, analyzing data, coordinating with teams, conducting research, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with special projects.

Leads traffic engineering analyses, forecasts, modeling, and project deliverables for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. Oversees work planning, schedules, budgets, technical quality, client coordination, proposals, and scope development. Mentors and reviews team members while applying traffic analysis expertise and coordinating across disciplines. Requires an engineering degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience, with preference for eight years, PE certification, traffic analysis software proficiency, and project management experience.

Supports finance and assigned project teams with routine administrative tasks, report preparation, data analysis, research, meeting participation, document editing, and special projects under close supervision. The intern will assist management, coordinate information across teams, and perform general office support duties during Summer 2027.

Supports engineering project delivery through research, field investigations, design calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, quantity and cost estimates. Assists with design files, data collection, and project development across roadway, rail, structures, traffic, water resources, and construction management disciplines. Applies engineering principles and software tools while working with project teams on infrastructure projects.

Engineering intern supporting transportation and infrastructure projects across structures, roadway, traffic, rail, water resources, and construction. Responsibilities include assisting engineering teams, conducting research, supporting project design, preparing drawings and documents, performing basic calculations, and organizing technical information. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program and have foundational engineering, geometric, and algebraic knowledge. AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is preferred.

Support engineering teams by preparing and modifying design calculations, reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and design files. Conduct research, data collection, field investigations, and assist with project delivery using CAD and office software.

Assist planning project teams by collecting and analyzing data, producing maps, exhibits, reports, and presentation materials, supporting stakeholder engagement, and helping prepare plans, studies, and environmental documents under staff direction.

Assist engineering teams with basic engineering tasks including research, design support, preparation of engineering drawings and documents, basic calculations, and organizing information for project use.
