Manages complex, high-severity casualty claims from investigation through resolution. Responsibilities include coverage and liability analysis, reserve evaluation, settlement negotiations, claim strategy, collaboration with counsel and experts, regulatory compliance, recovery opportunities, and mentoring less experienced professionals. The role handles bodily injury, construction defect, and property damage claims while communicating developments to internal and external stakeholders.

A 12-week summer internship rotating through six weeks of Claims and six weeks of Underwriting. Interns gain practical insurance industry experience, complete meaningful projects, organize data, strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills, and learn how these functions support business success.

Leads the enterprise integrations team and governs integration architecture, APIs, middleware, cloud-native patterns, event-driven systems, DevSecOps, observability, and production support. Oversees Guidewire Cloud integrations, vendor connectivity, automation and RPA initiatives, delivery standards, governance, resiliency, and continuous improvement. Partners across technology and business teams, provides technical decision support, manages resources and performance, and develops team members.

Provides clerical and administrative support for premium audit operations, including researching and entering data, assigning and processing audits, closing noncompliant audits, proofreading and processing documents, handling invoices, and communicating with agents, insured parties, and vendors. May also contribute to project teams and procedure development under direct supervision.

Supports commercial lines underwriting operations by developing best practices, policies, procedures, training programs, quality-control processes, and performance-improvement initiatives. Serves as an underwriting support subject matter expert, monitors operational performance, identifies skill gaps, coordinates internal quality reviews, and represents the rating function on corporate projects.

Designs and delivers training, onboarding, coaching, and learning solutions for Claims employees and leaders. Partners with stakeholders to identify learning needs, improve performance, support process and technology changes, and reinforce behavior change. Uses data and feedback to recommend solutions while contributing to change management, talent development, compliance, and claims improvement initiatives.

Leads Frankenmuth Insurance’s core technology organization supporting personal and commercial lines, billing, financial systems, and document management. Oversees platform strategy, modernization, delivery, operations, security, compliance, vendors, budgets, and enterprise transformation initiatives. Builds high-performing technology teams, partners with business and enterprise technology leaders, and advances Agile, DevOps, cloud, automation, and product-oriented delivery practices.
