Sews fabric and leather furniture pieces using industrial sewing equipment, following specifications and quality standards. Produces accurate seams and straight stitches, prevents skipped stitches, inspects materials for flaws and color accuracy, and meets production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires safe equipment operation, attention to detail, teamwork, communication, independent work, PPE compliance, and willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Sews fabric and leather furniture pieces using industrial sewing machines while meeting quality standards, seam specifications, production goals, and inspection requirements. Responsibilities include producing straight, accurate stitches; preventing skipped stitches; reading English sew notes; measuring with a ruler; identifying color variations, holes, and flaws; following safety procedures; and working effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing plant with minimal supervision.

Supports daily accounting operations through accounts receivable processing, invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, EDI advance ship notices, and general AP/AR billing activities. Communicates with customers and vendors to resolve discrepancies, generates basic reports, maintains accurate financial records, and collaborates with AP, Payroll, and other teams. This is a full-time hourly office position with occasional overtime.

Secures furniture frame foundations by manually tying springs using the 8-way method and fastening components with manual and powered tools. Maintains a safe, organized work area and identifies nonconformance issues. Requires standing and walking for eight hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, reading order tickets and patterns, using PPE, and working weekends or overtime as needed.

Stage frames, legs, cushions, poly, and covers per ticket specifications. Read tickets, move and position staged frames to upholstery lines, assist unloading and organization, lift and push/pull materials, follow safety and PPE requirements, and work scheduled shifts including overtime and weekends.

Manage daily evaluation and loading of incoming orders to optimize on-time delivery. Slot orders within capacity constraints, confirm material availability, create and communicate daily production plans via EDI, prepare production tickets, monitor schedule adherence, analyze root causes of scheduling issues, support process improvements, and provide ad-hoc reporting and cross-functional coordination.

The Machine Bundler is responsible for accurately bundling cut pieces of fabric and leather, labeling each bundle, and transporting them to the Sewing department.

Upholster outside sections of chairs and sofas in fabric and leather to 100% quality. Perform own repair work, read order tickets, use staple guns and hand tools, lift and transport frames, and meet production and safety standards. On-site role with early shift, possible overtime and weekend work.

Upholster and digitize new furniture for product development using SolidWorks. Ensure correct patterning for production, train others on new pieces, meet deadlines, and perform additional PD tasks as assigned.

Upholster chairs and sofas in fabric and leather to 100% quality. Perform repair work, read order tickets, use upholstery tools (staple gun, staple puller, scissors), meet production and safety requirements, and work weekends/overtime as needed.

Digitize furniture patterns and generate Gerber and AccuMark (Z1) markers for automated cutting machines; produce marker tracking data (dimensions, material usage, piece counts, bundle codes); update models/markers for design revisions; coordinate with cutting supervisor to support production schedule and resolve day-to-day issues.

Prepare furniture for shipping by using heat guns and shrink wrap. Assist with loading trucks and perform quality checks.

The CAD Frame Drawer is responsible for creating and modifying 3D furniture frame models using Solid Works, collaborating with the Product Development department.

Support store-level operations and Interior Designers by performing opening/closing duties, assisting customers, maintaining merchandising and inventory standards, reviewing orders for accuracy, driving exceptional guest experiences, coordinating scheduling and follow-up, and participating in team meetings to meet sales and operational objectives.

Prepare and supply sewn pieces to sewers by readying materials, borders, and parts; ensure pieces meet sewing specifications and quality standards; assist with repairs and support sewers as needed in a furniture manufacturing environment.
