Oversees multiple technical or scientific projects, or one large project, from planning through delivery and transition. Manages Agile teams, schedules, budgets, risks, quality assurance, incidents, vendors, stakeholders, compliance, technical operations, and project deliverables. Provides portfolio, program, and project management support for NOAA National Weather Service IT initiatives. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, cost and performance tracking, CPIC reporting, governance support, acquisition documentation, stakeholder communication, budget tracking, audits, and continuous improvement. The role requires federal IT program experience, PMP certification, strong communication, and proficiency with project-management and collaboration tools.

Leads application security engineering for enterprise systems, including SAST and DAST scanning, security control implementation, web application protection, and pipeline development. Uses Veracode, Burp tools, Linux, and programming or scripting languages to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Applies OWASP, CVSS, CWE, federal compliance standards, and secure architecture practices while supporting scalable digital transformation initiatives. Requires Public Trust eligibility and U.S. citizenship.

Develop, test, implement, optimize, and maintain scalable software systems. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers; troubleshoot technical issues; conduct code reviews; contribute to architecture decisions; follow secure coding practices; and participate in Agile ceremonies.

The Senior Solutions Architect designs and develops IT and network engineering solutions for government entities, supports business capture, and crafts proposal responses.
