We are seeking a skilled Mobile Automation QA Engineer experienced in automating Apple native applications. This position will be working with our client in streaming services. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Automate the analytics test cases for our mobile applications, similar to our existing web automation processes. 
  • Collaborate with Mobile Automation Engineers to identify reusable code for analytic needs within the mobile repository. 
  • Implement a tool for extracting and validating logs from Charles Proxy through automation and incorporate into daily tests. 
  • Develop a dedicated analytics sanity, smoke, and regression test suite using existing mobile automation code. 
  • Set up and maintain proper reporting for analytics test runs, ensuring clear visibility of results to the manual analytics team. 
  • Integrate the reporting tool being developed by the QTE team for analytics purposes. 
  • Work closely with the QTE team to leverage existing tooling for automation and analytics. 

Required Experience:

  • Proficient in Java and experience with Selenium/Appium. 
  • Hands-on experience with XCode (Apple).
  • Familiar with Page Object Model (POM) design patterns. 
  • Proficient in using JIRA and test case management systems (e.g., TestRail, XRay). 
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
  • Experienced with version control systems (e.g., git). 
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Junit or TestNG for test automation framework.
  • Experience with Gradle or Maven for build automation.
  • Comfortable using IntelliJ or other standard Java development IDEs. 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. 
  • Familiarity with mobile-specific challenges in automation and testing.
