What you will do here:

• Drive new business by prospecting identifying and converting new customer opportunities across all vertical markets.
• Promote and educate integrators distributors consultants and end users on Axis innovative Internet of Things solutions for physical security public safety business intelligence and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong and ongoing communication with partners and new prospects.
• Conduct site visits product demonstrations presentations and lunch and learn sessions that highlight Axis value and differentiation.
• Work closely with Axis Technology Integration Partners to deliver complete solutions.
• Recommend relevant hardware software and system architectures that solve customer problems and create measurable return on investment.
• Attend and participate in trade shows seminars Axis Academy trainings webinars and industry events.
• Use Salesforce daily to manage pipeline maintain clean data and support consistent follow up.
• Perform job walks gather requirements and assist with system design and bill of materials creation.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers Field Sales Engineers Access Control Specialists marketing and partner teams to grow the region.
• Complete other duties that support the region growth objectives.

What we are looking for:

• The ability to learn master and clearly communicate hardware and software based network technologies.
• Strong presentation skills and confidence speaking to groups in a professional setting.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast moving environment.
• Experience managing opportunities forecasting and maintaining pipeline in Salesforce or another customer relationship management platform.
• The ability to think critically find creative solutions and plan strategically for both short term success and long term growth.

You will need the following:

• 4+ years of experience in a sales driven role
• A bachelor degree or equivalent technical or electronic trade background
• A strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms with a preference for Salesforce

Physical demands:

• The ability to lift 25-50lbs for demonstrations and events
• The ability to travel 40-60% within the territory

Target Salary

The approximate pay range for the Regional Sales Manager position is $130,000 to $145,000 Total Target Compensation. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
