Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing cross-functional and/or inter-departmental projects for Line of Business products, processes, functions, and employee readiness. Key responsibilities of the job include partnering with the business to develop a plan to sustain change, evaluating current methods, and developing strategies to implement changes and project improvements. Job expectations include overseeing projects, using appropriate tools to drive project completion, and serving as a secondary point of contact to department managers for critical change initiatives.

Manages horizontal support our NFRR, Initiative & Transformation Operations (NITRO) group, to include developing onboarding of new team members, coordination of our GBS resource engagement and oversight of other horizontal resources (BAs, etc.)[IK] and management of shared sites (SharePoint, etc.). Consults with other team leaders in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements. Lead employee engagement by fostering a positive and productive culture and enabling transparent communication between leadership and employees.   Requires a deep understanding of change protocols, process improvement and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Supports operational priorities of the NITRO team and broader PMO to create, implement and monitor business activities aimed at driving effectiveness, consistency, and connectivity across our change portfolios
2. Collaborates and influences key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
3. Performs analytics, assessments, and leverages data to derive insights, identify business opportunities, and measure outcomes
4. Consults and collaborates with senior management to drive operational excellence by identifying innovative ways to continuously improve the organization 
5. Works with leadership team to ensure processes are well-defined, managed, and up to date
6. Leads Employee Engagement activities including survey analysis and focus groups, support of internal communications and events, coordination of recognition award and eCards, and team building events
7. Assist administrative management of short/long term NITRO calendar to enable senior leader engagement, organizational health, recognition, and associate feedback

Required Skills:

• You will have 4 years of proven experience of project management skills, using structured methods whilst delivering projects to plan and on budget.
• You will be highly organized and effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts.
• You will have knowledge of Operations processing & regulatory requirements.
• You will show the ability to assess an ill-defined problem and propose the tasks & deliverables that will be necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
• You will have proven experience of managing and communicating with stakeholders at different levels.
• You will be proficient with MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.

Desired Skills:

• Global Banking / Markets Operations experience – ideally with knowledge of NFRR or similar regulatory mandates would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in process design / mapping would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Agile methods and tools would be advantageous.
• Previous experience working collaboratively among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward, to better serve an evolving client base would be advantageous.
• Showing the ability to continually learn and serve our clients better would be an advantage.
• Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change, utilizing new thoughts and ideas would be an advantage.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$69,900.00 - $122,400.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
