Job Description

Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to support the growth of their Debit Card Marketing Program in collaboration with a global travel partner.  The Marketing Project Manager will bring a strong foundation in marketing performance, data measurement, and project leadership. This role will oversee all work streams for marketing initiatives, focusing on early activation and acquisition campaigns across digital marketing channels, including email and social media.

The Details:

  • Location: Remote within United States; West Coast strongly preferred
  • Duration: Approximately a 12-month consulting project with the possibility of extension

What you’ll do:

  • Program Management:
    • Manage all work streams related to the Debit Card Marketing Program.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate potential roadblocks and proactively address risks.
    • Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Marketing Strategy:
    • Support early-month-on-book initiatives by developing activation strategies for new cardholders and creating targeted promotions.
    • Lead acquisition efforts to convert rewards members to active card users.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing technology, data, and client markets, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
    • Facilitate vendor onboarding and work with tech teams to stand up new vendors as needed.
  • Digital Marketing Execution:
    • Ensure all campaigns are effectively executed across digital marketing channels, including email and social media.
    • Collaborate with marketing tech teams to optimize digital performance.
  • MarTech & Data Expertise:
    • Understand and manage proprietary marketing platforms.
    • Oversee data sharing, creative setup, measurement, data transfer, and aggregation.
    • Utilize marketing performance data to measure success and recommend optimizations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing project management with a strong background in debit/credit card marketing.
  • Proven experience managing email and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms and processes, including data transfer and aggregation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and anticipate project risks.
  • Strong intuition and analytical skills to foresee and address challenges before they arise.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across various teams and levels.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
