Caterpillar is embarking on a bold digital transformation to revolutionize our dealers' systems - seamless, intelligent, and designed for the future. We are developing a scalable, modern ERP solution for Caterpillar dealers, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure Integration Services. This next-generation platform will leverage pre-configured business processes, optimized workflows and AI-powered automation to streamline operations, accelerate digital capability deployment, and elevate customer experience across our global dealer network.
We are seeking a delivery-focused Manager; Digital Program (ERP) to lead cross-functional workstreams and drive development execution of our Dealer ERP template. This high-impact role is part of a newly launched strategic initiative and will serve as a delivery orchestrator, aligning teams to program objectives, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes through scaled Agile practices.
What You Will Do:
  • Planning and monitoring program development across teams to ensure alignment with program objectives, roadmap and release plans
  • Organizing and coordinating teams who work on diverse aspects of digital programs
  • Serving as a liaison and building bridges among groups within and outside of the digital field.
  • Facilitating key scaled Agile ceremonies, coordinating governance meetings and ad-hoc sessions to ensure strategic alignment and decision-making and promote communication and collaboration
  • Evolving operating model to optimize scaled Agile delivery across complex, cross-functional workstreams, driving transparency and continuous improvement
  • Leading and mentoring Scrum Masters and PM's, Product Owners, and scrum teams to foster a high-performing Agile culture
  • Identifying, escalating, and tracking risks, issues and cross-team dependencies
  • Managing and configuring the Azure DevOps environment to support efficient software delivery, enabling reporting features tailored to program needs, and enforcing governance policies
  • Ensuring tooling integrations for roadmap planning, release mapping and demand intake and other program needs

What You Will Have:
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.
  • Program Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.
  • Change Control: Knowledge of the processes and procedures by which a change is identified, evaluated, approved, monitored and documented; Ability to manage changes in the production environment and processes effectively.
  • IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.

Considerations For Top Candidates:
  • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and extensive experience applying Agile methodology, driving Agile Release Train (ART) cadence and structure
  • Strong ability to drive product governance
  • Ability to build dashboards and identify gaps driven by data
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) administration and experience with tools such as Confluence, Miro and Aha!
  • Extensive experience creating documentation and driving processes, standardization and change management
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and communicate effectively, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.
  • Previous experience leading large scale enterprise initiatives and coordinating vendor contributions
  • Experience supporting ERP products such as MS Dynamics 365 preferred

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
