Job Description

We're looking for a forward-thinking systems engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, defining, and implementing sophisticated system requirements tailored to customer needs. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll dive deep into existing architectures, conduct thorough analyses, and help drive compatibility across hardware and software platforms. From coordinating subsystem design to integrating full-scale solutions, to resolving issues, and recommending impactful improvements that keep our systems running smoothly and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine the optimal control system solution and determine applicable hardware and software control configuration/architecture
  • Assist with conceptual hardware systems design, determination of control system strategy to meet customer requirements
  • Assist with the integration of 3rd party hardware, software, and control systems
  • Visit 3rd party suppliers and/or panel shops to assess progress, provide technical assistance and carry out inspections
  • Carry out internal and customer system testing
  • Provide on-site control system commissioning as required
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Previous relevant experience in an Internship/Co-Op or relevant work experience
  • Typically requires 5+ years experience utilizing programmable controllers, numerical controls, computers or motor controls and drives in industrial automation control systems is strongly preferred
  • Experience and desire to deliver high-quality customer service
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Willingness to travel

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from 100,560.00 - 150,840.00 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
