We need a SPANISH AND ENGLISH-fluent Safety & Training Specialist (OSHA & AVETA), based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?
We are seeking a Safety & Training Specialist to support our client’s growing project portfolio with Amazon. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth onboarding, training, and compliance of field teams who execute site-level technology deployments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and delivering safety protocols and training content, with familiarity in OSHA standards and the AVETA methodology (Assessment, Validation, Evaluation, Training, and Adjustment).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement training programs for project teams focused on site operations, safety, and compliance.
  • Develop safety policies, training materials, checklists, and documentation aligned with OSHA standards and AVETA practices.
  • Act as a Safety Ambassador within the team, ensuring all field workers understand and comply with operational safety procedures.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new personnel, including soft skills, technical orientation, and job-specific instruction.
  • Conduct periodic audits and refresher trainings as needed.
  • Communicate with field teams and leadership to ensure clarity of roles, procedures, and expectations.
  • Work closely with Project Coordinators and Managers to integrate safety and training into project planning.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • 3+ years of experience developing or delivering safety and training programs in field, logistics, construction, or tech-related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 10/30 standards, policies, and documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with AVETA methodology or similar training development frameworks.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into digestible training content.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams and operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with Amazon or similar large-scale operations clients is a plus.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • The initial length of the contract is of 3 months. It may be extended based on performance.
  • Having a valid US Visa is mandatory for this position.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
